Machine-made Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Clean Panel

EPS panels are made of polystyrene resin as the main raw material, and are white objects that are formed in molds after heating pre-foaming with volatile liquid blowing agents and are characterized by their micro-fine closed pore structure. Because it is molded in a mould, the full Chinese name is molded polystyrene, or EPS for short.

Features:

1. Light weight

EPS panels have a small impact on the building load. Long domestic application time and mature technology make it easy availability of raw materials and low price.

2. Low thermal conductivity.

The air-filled pore structure prevents the diffusion of air, making its thermal conductivity lower than 0.039 and having strong resistance to low temperatures.

3. Good impact resistance

As 98% of the space inside the board is filled with air, it has sufficient ability to cushion the external impact by changing and recovering the shape and has good impact resistance.

4. Low water absorption

It is proven that humidity affects the thermal and mechanical properties of the material and the low water absorption of the material helps to maintain these properties.

Its recycle rate is high among plastics.
